IRVINE, Calif. – UC Irvine men's track & field had four student-athletes in action on the first day of the Vince O'Boyle Classic Friday at Anteater Stadium.

Senior
Liam Miksic remained unbeaten in the javelin with his third victory of the season. He won the event with a meet-record 64.87 meters (212-10). Miksic has claimed the javelin title at the Vince O'Boyle Classic three times in his career (2025, 2023, 2022). He did not compete in last year's meet. Senior
Logan Peyton claimed runner-up honors with a toss of 57.36m (188-2).

Luke Stuckey took sixth in the hammer throw. His best mark of the day came on his second attempt where he hit 48.55m (159-3).

Jerry Roberts also competed in the long jump where he placed 12th overall (6.76m/22-2.25).

SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Anteater distance crew competed in the Mangrum Invitational Friday evening at Cal State San Marcos.

Juan Chantaca clocked a 10-second personal-record 14:11.32 to finish first out of 40 in the 5000-meter. Senior
Joshua Schuld was also second in a lifetime-best 14:17.79, while senior
Juan Sanchez ran a season-best 14:49.37 to place fifth.

Jimmy Markowicz crossed the finish line in a personal-best 9:32.58 to take sixth in the steeplechase.

Zeid Hussain (3:54.79) added top-10 showings in the 1500m, which featured 74 athletes.
