Scott Juniper. UCI reaches the Big West Championship for a fifth straight year, 14th time under coach Juniper, and 17th time overall
· The Anteaters finished fourth in the Big West with a 5-2-3 mark. Under coach Juniper, UCI has 82 Big West wins, a .636 win percentage, 15 non-losing Big West season, and 13 winning seasons in the Big West
· UC Irvine went a respectable 3-2-4 in non-conference action with wins at Grand Canyon, home vs. Washington State, a home draw vs. Washington the eventual Big Ten champion, and dropping one-goal decisions at Arizona and vs. Santa Clara
· Nationally, the Anteaters finished high on the defensive side with the eighth-lowest goals-against-average of 0.550.
Laurynn Ziller was a big part of that with a 0.593 GAA, 16th-lowest individually. With Ziller,
Savanna Arruda, and the backline, UCI helped produce an 84.1% save percentage, 30th nationally, and 10 shutouts in 20 matches in addition to 68 total shots on goal allowed, 3.40 per match to lead the Big West. The 'Eaters allowed multiple goals to an opponents just once the entire season
· The Anteater offense averaged over a goal a game including seven matches with multiple goals and a pair of 4-goal games at GCU and Sacramento State. Top scorers with
Mia Colombini (7 G, 15 PTS),
Ella Colombini (2 G, 11 PTS), and
Suus de Bakker (5 G, 10 PTS). UCI's eight game-winning goals were scored by six different players with Mia netting three. Five different Anteaters posted their first career goals in 2025:

All-Big West Honors
· All-Big West awards were announced with UC Irvine leading the pack with 10 honorees, and all without taking home any player of the week awards in the regular season

Mia Colombini secured Big West Midfielder of the Year from her five goals in Big West play to lead all scorers and seven overall goals to tie for the scoring title. She joins Kiana Palacios from 2017 as the only Midfielder of the Year winners in program history
· UC Irvine's honorees including nine of 10 first-time award recipients starting with first-teamers
Mia Colombini and
Suus de Bakker. Seven more Anteaters were listed on the honorable mention team with the only returning award winner,
Ivy Williams, after making All-Freshman Team a year ago. The rest were

Laurynn Ziller. One 'Eater scored All-Freshman Team in

Record Breakers
· UC Irvine's 50-match club added three at
Mirayah Villalpando,
Ella Colombini, and
Mia Colombini for 107 players all-time. Members
Mihaela Perez and
Suus de Bakker reached 79 career matches each with Perez eclipsing 6,000 minutes for her career

Savanna Arruda played 11 matches and just over 500 minutes in her Anteater career, but she sits atop with the lowest goals-against-average in UCI keeper history at 0.68 allowing a total of four goals while saving 21 shots for a 84.0% save percentage

10 Anteaters made their UCI debuts in 2025 including eight freshmen that totaled 2,199 minutes played. Those freshmen were also accountable for two goals, one game-winner from
Fiona Shin, and four assists for eight total points
