PALO ALTO, Calif. – No. 2 UC Irvine recorded nine aces in a 3-0 victory over No. 9 Stanford (25-19, 25-20, 25-23) Friday night at Burnham Pavilion.
Four different Anteaters logged a point from the service line, led by freshman
Micah Goss' career-high four aces.
Senior
Hilir Henno led all players with 15 kills, hitting .500 (15-3-24). He also had two aces and a two block assists in the win.
The Anteaters improve to 6-0 while Stanford goes to 3-2.
