Idaho enters the weekend with a 0-1 record, dropping 6-1 to Washington State to open their season, and are on a three-match swing in the Golden State against Big West opponents. The Vandals will first stop at UC Riverside (Jan. 24) before landing at UC Irvine (Jan. 25) and UC San Diego (Jan. 26).
UI's Naomi Schraeder earned the lone point for the Vandals in their home match against the Cougars. In the No. 6 spot, Schraeder won both her sets 6-2.
