MIAMI – Alumni JC Butler was named to the Miami HEAT's NBA 2K25 Summer League roster earlier this month.

Butler is one of 14 players on the roster that will be coached by Dan Bisaccio, the HEAT's Player Development Coach.

The HEAT started their Summer League campaign in the California Classic (July 6-10) where they went 2-1 with wins over the Sacramento Kings and Los Angeles Lakers. Butler appeared in two of the three contests.

Summer action resumes this weekend at NBA 2K25 in Las Vegas for four games as the HEAT will face off against the Boston Celtics (July 13), OKC Thunder (July 15), Dallas Mavericks (July 17), and Toronto Raptors (July 19).

The 20th year of NBA Summer League in Las Vegas brings all 30 teams together for the NBA 2K25 Summer League, which begins July 12 and ends July 22 when a champion will be crowned. After each team's first four games, the top four teams will advance to participate in the playoffs, beginning with a semifinal doubleheader. The two winning teams from the semifinal games will meet in the championship game.

After graduating in 2023, Butler competed with the Orlando Magic Summer League team before advancing to the HEAT's G-League affiliate, Sioux Falls Skyforce.
