UC Irvine Drops Friday Afternoon Contest To Long Beach State

LONG BEACH, Calif. – UC Irvine dropped their Friday afternoon contest at Long Beach State, 7-0.
The Beach won the doubles point on courts one (6-1) and court two (6-2) while the match at No. 3 was left unfinished as LBSU was up, 5-2.
Jenna Schlatter, Asha Gidwani, Carolyna Fowler, and Amanda Perez all brought their first sets of their respective singles matches within three scores (6-3).
At No. 1 singles, Schlatter was able to stay within three again in her second set of her match.
Haily Huynh at the No. 6 spot fought hard against her opposition, but dropped both her sets 6-4.
Long Beach State won all six singles matches for the overall match victory.
