HONOLULU, Hawaii – No. 5 UC Irvine suffered a five-set loss to No. 14 Lewis at the OUTRIGGER Invitational at SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.
UC Irvine went up 2-1 before dropping the final two sets (25-22, 19-25, 25-18, 20-25, 11-15). The Anteaters, who snap their seven-match winning streak, go to 13-5 overall, while Lewis is 11-9.
The biggest difference in the boxscore was Lewis' 12-7 advantage in blocks.

Hilir Henno posted a match-best 24 kills, the sixth time he has recorded 20 or more kills this season. He also had six digs

William D'Arcy pounded 17 kills after having a career-high 19 the night before
