LA JOLLA, Calif. - UC Irvine men's golf finished the UC San Diego Invitational in a tie for 13th Tuesday at Torrey Pines Golf Course.

Four Anteaters combined for a three-round total of 894 (305-291-298). North Dakota State claimed the team title at 7-under 857. The Bison were the only program to finish below par as Idaho was the runner-up at 2-over 866. North Dakota State's Jack Johnson was the individual medalist with an 8-under 208 (73-68-67).

Senior
Darien Zhao was UCI's top finisher in a tie for 30th. He carded a 3-over 75 in the final round to close out the tournament with a 54-hole score of 221 (77-69-75).

Sophomores
Jin Nakao (77-72-75) and
Rei Harashima (76-72-76) also tied for 58th with a total of 224. In Tuesday's final round, Harashima eagled the par-5, 520-yard 17th hole.

Freshman
Jason Tang had UC Irvine's best round of the day with an even-par 72. He wrapped up the tournament in 62nd at 225 (75-78-72).

The Anteaters will be back in action next week, traveling to the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, Arizona, for the Wyoming Cowboy Classic, April 1-2.
