OFF THE TEE
UC Irvine will compete at the Utah Tech /Café Zupas Trailblazer Invitational Sunday-Tuesday (Feb. 11-13) at the Green Spring Golf Course.
 
Teams will play 18 holes each day with a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m. PT
 
The Green Spring Golf Course plays at 6, 038 yards and Par 72.
 
Tournament field includes  CSUN, Eastern Washington, Gonzaga, Idaho State, Southern Utah, Utah Valley, Western Michigan and host Utah Tech.
 
The Anteaters lineup is Jasmine Chen, Charlotte Ryoo, Megan Yang, Alyson Sor and Kiana Briggs
 
IN THE CLUBHOUSE
UCI started the spring season at the UC Crown, a dual match against UC Riverside. The Highlanders won 17-3.
 
Megan Yang won her match play 2-1, while Chanelle Hwang was All Square.

Heading into the spring season, Jasmine Chen leads the Anteaters in scoring average with a 73.42 mark over 12 rounds. Freshman Alyson Sor follows with a 73.82 average over 11 rounds and Kiana Briggs has 74.42 average over 12 rounds. Senior Megan Yang owns a 72.83 average over six rounds.
 
Chen posted UCI's best fall finish with a T14th place performance at The Clash at Boulder Creek 212 (71-68-73).
 
Anteater players fired rounds of 69 or better six times in the fall. Four players went 69 or lower with Jasmine Chen, Megan Yang and Alyson Sor all recording a season-low 68.
 
The team had a season's best fourth place finish at the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational 877 (298-286-293).
