Jack Yu climbed into the top-10 after an impressive second round Tuesday at the Leadership and Golf Collegiate Championship.

Yu fired a team-best seven birdies to come in at 3-under 69. He moved up 13 spots into a tie for sixth with a 36-hole score of 141 (72-69).

Sophomore
Jason Tang was also below par in the second round with four birdies and three bogeys for a 1-under 71. Tang made the biggest leap for the Anteaters, jumping 30 spots into a tie for 45th (79-71).

Junior
Rei Harashima (152) is also tied for 56th, while freshman
Tommy Lin (153) and junior
JJ Nakao (156) rounded out UCI's 5-count-4 lineup.

The 'Eaters saw a four-stroke improvement to move into 10th with a two-round total of 592 (298-294). BYU increased its lead on the field by three strokes at 7-under. The Cougars' Simon Kwon also took the top spot on the individual leaderboard at 7-under 137 (67-70).
The final round of the Leadership and Golf Collegiate Championship gets underway Wednesday with a shotgun start at 8:45 a.m. at Bayonet Golf Course.
