SAN DIEGO – The Anteaters net five wins to cap off day two of both the ITA Southwest Regional and Triton Fall Invitational.
 
Both Carolyna Fowler and Haily Huynh bounced back from their individual losses in yesterday's qualifying round to move on to the round of 16 in the consolation bracket. Fowler defeated Dana Kunza from Cal State Fullerton 6-1, 6-3 while H. Huynh took down another Big West opponent in Allaire Berl (Hawai'i) 6-2, 6-4.
 
Over at UC San Diego, the Anteaters saw success over a pair of Triton opponents in singles action. Yen Nhi Huynh took down Kamya Nair easily (6-0, 6-1) and Maily Huynh tallied a 6-1, 6-3 score in her match.
 
In the extra doubles portion of the Triton Invitational, Nour Khayat and Lindsay Kim sent their match into a third set after bouncing back from a 6-4 defeat in the first set to 6-1 and 10-6 victories in the second and third to take the match.
