UCI Heads To ITA Southwest Regional; Triton Fall Invitational

IRVINE, Calif. – UC Irvine women's tennis splits up this weekend to compete at both the ITA Southwest regional on the campuses of the University of San Diego and San Diego State and the Triton Fall Invitational at UC San Diego.
Carolyna Fowler, Asha Gidwani, Haily Huynh, and Kayla Meraz will be competing in the nationally sanctioned tournament in both singles action starting on Thursday with the round of 64 and Meraz earning the bye into the round of 32. Doubles action will begin on Friday Oct. 18.
The remaining six Anteaters are set to compete at the Triton Fall Invitational starting on Thursday in the round of 16 singles and round of eight doubles. UC Irvine will be competing against Cal Poly, CSUN, and UC San Diego.
