IRVINE, Calif. – UC Irvine student-athletes were successful in the classroom following the 2023 Fall Quarter.

Following the Fall academic quarter, 110 student-athletes were honored on the Dean's List. To qualify for the Dean's List, individuals need 12 or more undergraduate graded units in a quarter with a GPA of 3.500 or better.

Women's cross country finished with the top GPA for a women's team with a 3.53 GPA, while men's cross country posted the highest GPA (3.44) for a men's team. Overall, 15 UCI teams earned over a 3.0 GPA in the quarter.

"So proud of the excellence both the men's and women's cross country squads have displayed in the classroom this past quarter," remarked assistant coach Casey Kear. "This marks another successful academic quarter to go along with the accomplishments we saw in their athletic performances. Hoping to see more of the same at the conclusion of the winter quarter!"
