Jasmine Chen shined with a 69 on the second round of the Timpanogos Collegiate Invitational Monday.
Chen climbed up the leaderboard into a tie for 35th, after her 69, an eight-shot improvement from the first round. The sophomore, who had four birdies on the second round, has a two-day score of 146 (77-69).
For the second consecutive round, the Anteaters recorded a team score of 293 and are in 11
th place at 586.

Kiana Briggs carded a 74 and is tied for 17
th with a score of 143 (69-74). Freshman
Alyson Sor is tied with Chen for 35
th place with back-to-back rounds of 73 (146). Junior
Charlotte Ryoo is tied for 64
th with a total of 151 (74-77) and senior
Coco Yang is tied for 92
nd at 158 (80-78).
The tournament concludes with a final round shotgun start at 8:00 a.m.
