FIRST SERVE
The Windy City Classic has had a schedule change with UCI seeing action on Friday and Saturday (Sept.1-2) in Chicago, IL before returning home to host Boston College Sunday (Sept. 3) at the Bren Events Center beginning at 1:00 p.m.
UCI will take on host Chicago State on Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. PT then on Saturday, UCI will battle Jacksonville State at 10:00 a.m. PT
On Sunday, the athletic complex will be busy as UCI is also hosting a women's soccer game at 1:00 p.m. at Anteater Stadium. Fans are encouraged to allow time for parking and use

STORYLINES
UCI is looking for its first win of the season after going 0-3 at the adidas/UCI Invitational.Â
Outside hitter
Marianna Bertolone and middle blocker
Ofure Iselen were named to the All-Tournament team.
Bertolone leads the Anteaters with a 3.42 kill average which is fifth best in the Big West. She is third on the squad with a 2.92 digs average. The junior is ranked seventh in the Big West in points (4.04) and also leads the squad with five aces.
Bertolone opened the season with a career-high 24 kills against New Mexico, the most kills by a Big West player this season. The team captain had two double-doubles over the weekend, including 11 kills and 14 digs versus San Francisco, one shy of her career-high in digs.
Iselen is eighth in the Big West in hitting percentage (.317). The junior is averaging 2.08 kills and has six blocks. She had a career-high 11 kills against the Dons, hitting .375 with three block assists and two digs.
Head coach
Ashlie Hain has used three different starting lineups with 15 players seeing action over the first three matches.
THE OPPONENTS
Chicago State started the year 2-0 with two triumphs against Northern Illinois. The Cougars won the first match 3-2 and the second 3-1. Yanlis Feliz led the team in both matches with 46 total kills.
Jax State went 1-2 at the War Eagle Invitational, beating McNeese 3-2 before being swept by Coppin State and Auburn.
BC went 2-0 in their home tournament, beating Michigan and Sacred Heart, 3-0 to start the season.
The Eagles will travel to New Hampshire Wednesday then head to the San Diego Tournament where they will face Tennessee Friday and host Toreros Saturday.

Libero
Campbell Jensen picked up where she left off last season, leading the conference with a 5.00 dig average.
She had a season-high 23 versus New Mexico then followed that performance with 15 against Seton Hall and 22 against San Francisco.
As a team, UCI leads the Big West with a 19.00 digs per set. The Anteaters hold the top two dig marks in the conference with 83 against New Mexico and 81 versus San Francisco.
OFFENSE
The Anteaters put down 69 kills in the season opener which was the most by a Big West team.
UCI ranks third in kills (13.92), second in assists (13.00) and fourth in hitting percentage (.190) among Big West teams.
IMPRESSIVE DEBUTS
Graduate student
Hunter Riedl had an impressive debut, averaging 3.00 kills per set, second best on the team and 12
th in the Big West. Â She totaled 13 kills in each of the last two matches.
Middle blocker
Isabella Scarlett is ranked 14
th in the Big West in hitting percentage (.246). She is averaging 2.27 kills and 0.73 blocks per set.
FRESHMAN IMPACT
Freshman setter
Nicole Feliciano ranks third in the Big West in set assists with an 8.64 mark and 12
th in digs at 3.09. She has notched a double-double in each of her first three career matches, including a best of 42 set assists against USF. She collected 12 digs in each of the last two matches.
LOOKING AHEAD
Next week, UCI will have the gauntlet of No. 17 Washington State and No. 9 BYU plus Towson at the Cougar Challenge Sept.6-8 in Pullman, Wash.
