IRVINE, Calif. -- UC Irvine women's golfers Charlotte Ryoo and Jasmine Chen have been honored as Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars.

Ryoo earns the award for the second consecutive year, while Jasmine Chen garners the accolade for the first time.

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team is one of the most stringent in all of college athletics requiring a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA for the entirety of their college career as well as having participated in 50% of the team's competition to be eligible. Overall, 1,401 women's collegiate golfers from 378 programs were recognized with this prestigious honor.
