IRVINE, Calif. – It's Giving Day! UC Irvine Athletics is participating in the seventh annual UCI Giving Day Tuesday (May 18) through midnight.  

Giving Day is a 24-hour online fundraising campaign, which gives fans a chance to support their area of interest at UCI. On this day, we ask that alumni, parents, faculty and staff, and members of the Anteater family, consider supporting UCI Athletics.  

UCI Giving Day is an exciting opportunity for Anteaters to join one another and celebrate UC Irvine's winning traditions by investing in our future. To compete at the highest level of NCAA Division I Athletics, your generosity and support is more critical than ever. All gifts will directly enhance student-athletes through scholarships, recruitment, facility improvements, and investments in our coaching staffs.  

There has already been a lot to celebrate in 2022-23. Women's soccer won their second consecutive Big West Championship title and advanced to NCAA Sweet 16, while men's and women's basketball won Big West regular season titles with the women's team going on to win their first ever post-season game. Men's tennis and women's water polo both won Big West Championships last spring and are currently at the top of the standing once again. Three Anteaters have earned All-America status this year and four teams are nationally ranked.
