IRVINE, Calif. -- UC Irvine sophomore Hilir Henno was named Off The Block's National Outside Attacker Of The Week after an impressive performance at the service line, firing 12 aces over two wins against then-No. 6 Pepperdine.

In the second meeting with the Waves, he recorded a UCI match record eight aces, bettering Aaron Harrell's 2007 mark of seven. His eight aces are the most in a four-set match nationally, tied for most in the Big West and tied for second in the country overall. The lefty also tied for the team-high in digs with seven, had 10 kills and totaled a season-high five total blocks (1 solo and four assisted) in that match.

To start the week, he totaled eight kills, four aces and four digs in a five-set victory in Malibu.

Following last week's action, Henno moved into 10^th all-time in the UCI record book with 78 in his 31 career matches.
