'Eaters Begin Fifth NCAA Tournament at UCLA

IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine women's soccer is back in the NCAA Tournament for a third straight season and begins on the road heading to (1) UCLA for their First Round matchup on Friday.

The 'Eaters and Bruins will kickoff at 6:00 p.m. in Wallis Annenberg Stadium on Friday, November 10. The sides matched up this season at Anteater Stadium, and were opponents in the NCAA First Round back in 2021.

UCI won the Big West Championship three-peat as the 5-seed advancing past Long Beach State in a penalty shootout and consecutive 1-0 wins over top-seeded Cal State Fullerton and Cal Poly.

Tickets for Friday's first round match will go on sale on Tuesday, Nov. 7 at uclabruins.com/tickets via UCLA Communications. Advance sale prices are $12 for adults and $10 for youth. Student tickets are $8 with valid ID. Groups of 15 or more can purchase tickets for $10/person. On game day, tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for youth and groups, and $8 for students.
