IRVINE, Calif. - The UC Irvine women's water polo team has announced their schedule for the 2024 season.

The Anteaters open the season at the Fresno State Invitational (Jan. 20-21) followed by a trip down to La Jolla for the Triton Invitational (Feb. 2-4).

UC Irvine will then visit UCLA for a Quarterfinal rematch of last year's NCAA Championship on Feb.10, followed by a home game against last year's NCAA runner-up USC on Feb. 17.

UCI will spend the following two weekends competing in their last two tournaments, first at the Barbara Kalbus Invitational (Feb. 23-25) and then Pomona Convergence Invitational (Mar. 1-2).

The Anteaters return to Irvine for Big West opening play against UC San Diego (Mar.8) which will be followed up by an Alumni game (Mar. 9).

UC Irvine will stay at home in a non-conference matchup against Concordia (Mar. 13) then back on the road to face Big West opponent CSUN (Mar 15.)

UCI will close out its non-conference play at home against Brown (Mar.26) followed by a road game to continue Big West play against UC Santa Barbara (Mar. 30).

The 'Eaters will complete the regular season with four straight conference games, three being at home against Hawai'i (Apr. 5), UC Davis (Apr. 7), Cal State Fullerton (Apr. 13), and on the road against Long Beach State (Apr. 18).

The Big West Championship is slated for April 26-28 at UC Davis. The tournament champion earns an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships.
