LAKEWOOD, Wash. – UC Irvine is four shots off the lead at the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational at the Tacoma Country and Golf Club.
The Anteaters are in third place with a two-round score of 584 (298-286), four shots behind leader Nevada (580) and two back of Santa Clara (582). UCI was 11th after the first round and shot up the leaderboard after recording a 286 on the second. The 286 is the second lowest round of the season.
In her first tournament of the season, senior
Megan Yang is tied for 11
th after carding a 145, including a two-under par 70 on the second round. She had three birdies on the day.
Sophomore
Kiana Briggs is tied for 18
th place with a 36-hole total of 146 (74-72) with a team-best six birdies. Freshman
Alyson Sor is tied for 29
th at 148 (73-75).
Sophomore
Jasmine Chen had the best round of the day, firing a second round 69 and is tied for 41
st place with a score of 150 (81-69). It is the second time this season she has recorded a round of 69.
Junior
Charlotte Ryoo tied for 46
th place with a score of 151 (76-75)
The tournament concludes with 18 holes tomorrow starting with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start.
