Sunday at Long Beach State - 6:00 PM
· Another rendition of the Black & Blue Rivalry Series goes down Sunday night. The two met in the regular season for a 1-1 draw in Long Beach extending UCI's unbeaten run in the series to five matches (3-0-2) with their last loss coming in 2018. The sides have met four times in the postseason with UCI winning once, last year in the final, 3-0. This is just the first time the programs will meet in anything other than a final.
· LBSU's numbers are fairly similar to UCI's when it comes to shots, corners, and fouls. They have the Big West's season leader in goals, points, shots, and shots on goal with Cherrie Cox and Zora Standifer in net with just one conference shutout despite her and LBSU's backline allowing just 45 Big West shots on target
Big West Championship
