>RV California Baptist heads into their home invitational with a 3-3 record, earning wins over Biola, Azusa Pacific, and La Verne
>The 'Eaters are 21-2 all time against CBU, sweeping their two game series in 2021
>UC Irvine hosted the Lancers for a doubleheader on Feb. 6. 2021 where UCI won 11-5 and 16-3
>RV California Baptist finished the 2022 season with a 13-17 overall record
>UCI looks to stay unbeaten against RV Azusa Pacific as the 'Eaters hold the 3-0 all-time record
>The Anteaters hosted the Cougars on Feb. 5, 2022 where UCI prevailed 19-7
>RV Azusa Pacific completed the 2022 campaign with a 9-16 overall record, 2-5 in Golden Coast Conference play

WEEKEND RECAP
>UC Irvine was outshot by their opponents 64-58
>Redshirt sophomore Elena Flynn was named the first Big West Player of the Week for the 2023 season
>Flynn registered 10 goals over the weekend, completing the hat-trick in the loss to No. 4 California before she tied the school record of seven goals in a game in the 16-9 win over then No. 8 Fresno State
>Nioka Thomas got in on the hat-trick action, notching her first of the season in the victory over the Bulldogs
>Thomas had four goals on four shots in the contest along with one assist
>All but four 'Eaters who saw action in the pool scored at least one goal over the two game day
>Jessica Lynch and Kili Skibby were productive on the offensive end where they both dished out three assists
>Graduate student and transfer Erin Tharp earned her first start as an Anteater where she blocked 17 shots
> Tharp's 17 saves in a game is good for second all-time in the UCI record book for saves in a game
