UC Irvine Tops Chaminade, 7-0

HONOLULU, Hawai'i --- UCI began its brief trip to Hawai'i with a 7-0 victory over Division II side, Chaminade, Friday at Keehi Lagoon Park.

Doubles dominated with a pair of 6-0 sweeps as all three doubles positions won to earn the opening point.

Singles saw straight-set wins across the board as well led by Alyssia Fossorier at No. 1, and a trio of 6-0, 6-0 victories for No. 2 Emily Fowler, No. 4 Shreya Pavani, and No. 5 Mia Totah.

The Anteaters improve to 8-10 on the season, and go into their Big West match Saturday at Hawai'i with a 1-3 conference record.
