IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine women's tennis finished its home stretch with a win over Westmont, 7-0, Friday afternoon at Anteater Tennis Stadium.
UCI (7-10, 1-3) had little trouble in doubles play dropping just four games with the duo of
Dasee Carter and
Emily Fowler clinching the point, 6-3, at No. 3 doubles.
Singles saw all six courts win in straight sets with Carter coming out with the quick first point, 6-1, 6-1, and Fowler again helping clinch the fourth and winning point, 6-0, 6-4.
The 'Eaters improve to 7-10 on the season finishing their homestand cut down to six matches with a 3-3 mark.
The team will prepare for its final five matches all conference contests starting Saturday, April 9, at Hawai'i.
