LOS ANGELES - The UC Irvine women's track & field team wrapped up its weekend with the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational at UCLA's Drake Stadium as well as the final day of the Texas Relays.

At UCLA,
Kassidy Sani notched a season-best 150-02 to take fifth in the Invite section of the discus.
Deandra Tyler was also seventh in the shot put (Invite) at 43-08.5, while
Cassious Fiaui was fifth in the Open section at 39-01.75. Multi-event athletes
Chaselyn Amos (33-03.25) and
Kayla Rodriguez (31-01.75) added season bests.

Lorraine Nance had a pair of top-eight finishes, placing sixth in both the long jump (17-08.25) and triple jump (37-08.75).

On the track, Rodriguez posted another season best in the 100m hurdles (15.95), and Amos competed in the 100m (12.80).

Over in the Lone Star State,
Emma McCarthy,
Cathy Salazar-Gasca,
Alexis Alexander and
Jennifer Daly closed out the Texas Relays in the 4x800 where the quartet combined for a time of 9:08.83.

UC Irvine will make its home debut next weekend, hosting the inaugural
Vince O'Boyle Track & Field Classic at Anteater Stadium, April 1-2.
