IRVINE, Calif. – No. 13 UC Irvine would be held scoreless in overtime as No. 11 Princeton defeated the Anteaters, 12-10 at the Anteater Aquatics Complex Sunday afternoon.
The Tigers improved to 10-2 overall after out-scoring the Anteaters 2-0 in extra time. UCI goes to 4-2 on the year. Princeton scored two goals in the final two minutes of regulation to send the game in to overtime.
Princeton took advantage of extra man situations, scoring six goals on 10 attempts. The Anteaters were 3-12.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS

FOURTH PERIOD
>The UCI defense started the period with a steal and Padua turned at center and found the back of the net at 7:21, 8-7

1ST OVERTIME
>Princeton went ahead on a goal up top at 1:51

2nd OVERTIME
>Princeton would open an 12-10 advantage with a goal at 1:39
