
Emmanuel Coste Falls in Round of 64

TULSA, Okla. – UC Irvine's Emmanuel Coste fell in the singles main draw Wednesday at the ITA All-American Championships at Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
Coste fought his way back from a one-set deficit but came up just short against Arkansas' Alexandre Reco in the Round of 64. After dropping the opener by a 6-4 margin, Coste responded with a 6-2 victory in the second. The third frame then went down to the wire with Reco pulling out the decisive 7-6 (2) win.
Coste returns to the court tomorrow for a rematch with No. 106 Henry Schulenburg (Harvard) in the consolation Round of 32. Schulenburg defeated Coste Tuesday in the qualifying draw.
