FULLERTON, Calif. - Junior Christian Hernandez and freshman AJ Sager represented the UC Irvine men's cross country team Friday evening at the Titan Invitational.
Both Hernandez and Sager established 8,000-meter personal bests to place among the top-30 in a field of 149 athletes. Hernandez led the way, clocking in at 25:51.1 to come in 27th. Sager wasn't far behind in 32nd with a time of 25:54.6.
The Anteaters are back in action next week as they travel to Davis, California, for the Big West Championships on Friday, Oct. 29.
