QUOTE FROM HEAD COACH RUSSELL TURNER
"We were impressive as a team to start the second half. We have shown the ability to create momentum in games when things start to go well for us offensively. I thought our defense was really strong to start the second half which was the opposite of what happened yesterday for us. We showed some improvement tonight and I felt the commitment from my team and we really showed some purpose in the second half. We still have a long way to go to get to where I think we can be but I am pleased with getting a sweep and winning two games in two days."

Notes: Tonight marks the first time UCI is 4-0 in conference since 2017 … 44 is the fewest allowed by an opponent this season

UP NEXT
> The Anteaters will leave the state for the first time this season when they travel to Hawai'i for two conference games Jan. 29-30. Both games are set to start at 9 p.m. PT.
