IRVINE, Calif. – After a 24 day break from Big West action, UC Irvine secured a 68-49 win over Cal Poly Friday afternoon at the Bren Events Center.
The win marked UCI's fifth-straight, a streak that dates back to mid-December. The Anteaters also remain a perfect 6-0 at home and 3-0 in conference play. UCI improves to 7-4 overall.
Cal Poly falls to 0-5 in the Big West and 2-9 on the season.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS

Collin Welp led the 'Eaters with 15 points on 5-11 shooting overall including a perfect 5-5 from the free throw line. Welp also dished out three assists and grabbed three steals

JC Butler tied a career and season high 14 points including two three-pointers made. He grabbed three steals
