IRVINE, Calif. – UC Irvine had 11 players named to the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches' academic honor roll for 2019.

Kiyan Mohebbizadeh, Jason Evezard, Foster Hoose, and Chad Gornay received the Outstanding distinction for having a cumulative GPA between 3.71 and 4.0. Jovan Gojkovich, Bryant Joudrie, Jon Polos, and Grant Chiponis earned the Superior honors with a GPA of 3.41 to 3.70. Ian Fleenor, Skylar Lee, and Carson Arnett all received an Excellent honor with a GPA between 3.2 and 3.4.

UC Irvine had a cumulative team GPA of 3.41 which ranked ninth among the top 34 schools in the ACWPC's academic award rankings.

The ACWPC's All-Academic list honors players who possess a 3.2 GPA or greater and dressed for a game in the 2019 season.  A total of 450 student-athletes earned the recognition in 2019.
