IRVINE, Calif. – The Big West Conference and ESPNU have announced UC Irvine's road matchup at Cal Poly will be televised on ESPNU.
The contest, scheduled for Thursday, February 27 at Cal Poly, will now begin at 8 p.m. Pacific Time after originally slated for a 7 p.m. start.
UCI (7-2, 15-10) stands atop the Big West standings while the Mustangs (3-4, 7-16) are in a three-way tie for fifth in the conference.
The Anteaters won the first meeting against the Mustangs, 74-67, at the Bren Events Center (Jan. 25). UCI has won five-consecutive games against Cal Poly dating back to Jan. 2017.
This will make UCI's third appearance on a national televised game during the conference season as the 'Eaters were featured on EPSNU (Feb. 8) and were selected for an ESPN2 broadcast against Hawai'i (Feb. 15).
Next, UCI plays at UC Riverside Wednesday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m. on ESPN3.
