IRVINE, Calif. -- UC Irvine closed the UCI/adidas Invitational with a 3-0 loss to California (25-17, 25-12, 25-15) at the Bren Events Center Saturday.
The Anteaters were their own worst enemy as they had 11 receiving errors and hit just .128 (27-16-86) to Cal's .446 (40-7-74). The Golden Bears held a slight 5-4 advantage in blocks.
Cal improves to 6-0, while UCI goes to 1-5.

>The second set was all Cal as the Golden Bears won 25-12
