SAN JOSE, Calif. - The 13th-seeded UC Irvine men's basketball team saw its historic season come to an end with a 73-54 loss to No. 12 seed Oregon in the NCAA Round of 32 Sunday evening at SAP Center.
The Anteaters conclude the season with a school record 31-6 mark, while the Pac-12 Tournament champion Ducks improve to 25-12.Â
Oregon shot 52 percent from long distance, knocking down 13 of 25. UCI went 5-18 (27.8%) for three-pointers.

UC Irvine concludes a remarkable campaign with a school-record 31 victories and the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament win. The Anteaters put together a program-best 17-game winning streak as tonight marked just their second setback in the 2019 calendar year.

>UCI would score the first 14 points out of the break on a Cartwright three from the right side (19:51), a Rutherford rebound put-back (18:57), a Leonard free throw (18:22) and jumper (17:16) a Hazzard pull up jumper (16:21), a Rutherford hook shot (15:29) and a Cartwright reverse layup (14:28) to take a 37-35 lead
>Oregon would break their almost seven and a half minute drought with consecutive three-pointers by Ehab Amin and Louis King to move the Ducks back in front, 41-37 at 11:53
>A 9-3 spurt by the Ducks extended the lead out to 50-40 with 8:19 to play
>Oregon would break open the game with 10 in a row to open a 65-47 lead at 3:19
