IRVINE, Calif. – UC Irvine won its second consecutive match with a 4-2 victory over Pacific at the Anteater Tennis Stadium Friday.

The Anteaters improve to 4-3 overall, winning four of their last five outings. The Tigers fall to 2-5 on the year.

DOUBLES
>UCI swept doubles, winning all three matches to take a 1-0 lead into singles
> Senior Luis Lopez and junior Bruce Man-Son-Hing remain undefeated in doubles (4-0) at No. 3 beating Philip Hjorth and Josef Southcombe, 6-2

SINGLES
>UCI took a 2-0 lead with a win at No. 6 as Aaron Bailey defeated Josef Southcombe in straight sets 6-1, 6-4.
>Pacific would rally and pick up wins at No. 1 and No. 2 to knot the match at 2-2
>Mateusz Smolicki gave UCI a 3-2 lead with a 7-6, 6-4 victory over Tadiwa Chinamo at No. 3
>Daniel Gealer would clinch the match at No. 5 with a 7-5, 6-2 win against Jonathan Lieu
