Box Score PALO ALTO, Calif. – No. 9 Stanford handed No. 2 UC Irvine its first loss of the season with a 3-1 victory over the Anteaters (27-25, 17-25, 25-22, 27-25) at Maples Pavilion Thursday.
UCI goes to 5-1 overall, while Stanford remains undefeated 5-0.
