Hannah Chau named Buffalo Wild Wings Anteater of the Week

IRVINE, Calif. - This week's Buffalo Wild Wings Anteater of the Week is Hannah Chau of women's cross country. The freshman from Fairmont, Calif., finished 14th in a field of 170 last weekend at the UC Riverside Invitational 6K.
Chau's time of 20:59.2 is the 8th best time in school history (since 2000), and comes in her first collegiate 6K race. She is the first Anteater to make the 6K record books in seven years. The 'Eaters placed 6th out of 21 schools at the invitational, notching their second-straight top-eight finish this season.
Chau and the team look to extend the streak on Sep. 29 at the Capital Cross Challenge in Sacramento, Calif., hosted by Sacramento State. The 'Eaters then race in Riverside, Calif., at the Highlander Challenge hosted by UC Riverside on Oct. 13, before heading to the Big West Championships on Oct. 27.
