SEATTLE, Wash. - The UC Irvine women's indoor track & field team established two lifetime bests on the second and final day of the MPSF Championships Saturday at Dempsey Indoor.

Hallie Pullum notched a personal-record 2:18.68 in the 800m (39th). Pullum's time ranks 10th in school history. Sophomore
Keely Boyd added a career-best 5:16.00 in the mile where she took 35th.

Senior
Simone Buchanan led a trio of 'Eaters in the 400m, finishing 30th overall in a season-best 57.43. Freshman
Mikayla Scott was also 33rd (58.06), while junior
Julia Sambvani ran a season-best 58.68, which was good for 36th place.

Brandy Coward and Sambvani combined to run a season-best 3:53.07 in the 4x400 relay.

Elizabeth Akindele won her flight and placed 12th overall in the shot put (45-09.75).

Sophomore
Anastasia Karnaze, who was competing in her first 3000m race of the year, clocked in at 10:18.21 to finish 36th.

UC Irvine will kick off the outdoor season next Saturday, March 3, at the All-UC Meet in La Jolla.
