11th-ranked UCI concludes the regular season with two games this week. The Anteaters will play their final home game of the season Wednesday, Nov. 7 (7 p.m.) against California Baptist before heading to rival Long Beach State Friday, Nov. 9 (7 p.m.). Both games will have live stats available via the FOSH.  

GAMEDAY PROMOTIONS
Two promotional giveaways items will available on Wednesday.

Fans can enjoy dinner courtesy of Newport Rib Company. A UCI Water Polo hat will also be given to fans in attendance tomorrow night.

All UCI home games are complimentary, but fans are required to register online to be eligible for the promotional items. Items will be distributed on a first-come-first serve basis to those who have pre-registered. Pre-registration does not guarantee fans an item. Fans may register for upcoming games HERE. SENIOR NIGHT
> Wednesday is senior night. UC Irvine men's water polo and UCI Athletics will honor four outstanding senior Anteaters' before tomorrow night's contest. Those seniors include Miles Kalbus, Byron Rivers, Carlo Silvestre and Jack Trush.

WEEKEND STORYLINES
> UCI is 8-13 overall and 1-3 in GCC play after dropping two games last week
> CBU is 22-10 on the season and 7-2 in the WWPA. The Lancers are riding a four-game winning streak with recent victories against Concordia (14-8) and Air Force (10-7)
> UCI is 14-1 all-time against CBU. The Anteaters defeated the Lancers last season by a score of 21-4
> CBU is led in scoring by Dominick Nevarez with 72 goals
> The Lancers' goalie Tommy Lotero has 257 saves for a 9.55 goals against average
> This will be the first meeting between the two teams this season
> Long Beach State is 9-11 overall and 2-2 in the GCC
> The 49ers won two-straight conference games, with wins against No. 5 Pacific (14-13 OT) and San Jose State (11-8)
> LBSU is currently fourth in the conference standings while the Anteaters are fifth
> The last three matchups between UCI and LBSU have been decided by a single goal
> UCI fell to LBSU in the regular-season last year but defeated the 49ers in the GCC Tournament

> UCI dropped a conference game to UC Santa Barbara, 14-9, and fell to top-ranked USC 15-5
> Jason Evezard had five goals and one assist in the loss to the Gauchos
> Casey Lynton tallied two goals against the Trojans
> Chandler Mankins started both games in goal for UCI

> UCI remained No. 11 in this week's Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) national rankings. The Anteaters started the year at No. 10
> Sophomore transfer Jason Evezard wasted no time making an immediate impact on the UCI roster as he leads the team with 58 goals
> Evezard has scored at least once in every game, except one, has a team-best 11 hat tricks and a 16-3 record in sprints
> Byron Rivers has started 16 games in goal for the Anteaters, compiling 186 saves for a .544 save percentage
> Rivers leads the Golden Coast Conference in saves (186)
> Evezard is third in the GCC in goals (58)
> Casey Lynton leads the conference in steals with 40 and is third in the GCC in assists with 26
> Ian Fleenor is a perfect 9-0 in sprints
> UCI has lost three-straight games

JACK HITS 100
> Senior Jack Trush scored his 100th career goal in UCI's 17-10 win over LMU on Oct. 14
> Tush leads UCI with 65 drawn exclusions this season and is second in goals scored with 37

EVEZARD MAKES WAVES
> Sophomore Jason Evezard was named the Golden Coast Conference Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 27
> It was the first weekly honor of Evezard's career and the first for the Anteaters this season
> Evezard has led UCI in scoring in 11 of 20 games and has a team-high 58 goals this season
> He has a team-best 11 hat tricks and has scored at least one goal in every game, except one
> Evezard had a career-high seven goals against LMU on Oct. 14
 
LYNTON LIGHTS UP
> Sophomore Casey Lynton was named the Golden Coast Conference Player of the week for the week of Nov. 1
> It was the first weekly honor of Lynton's career and the second for the Anteaters this season
> Lynton helped UCI win its first GCC game of the season with an 11-10 victory over San Jose State
> He had a team-best three goals in the win, tallying his third career hat trick. Lynton also dished out three assists
> Lynton leads the Anteaters in steals (40) and assists (22)

UP NEXT
> UCI gears up for competition in the Golden Coast Conference Tournament Nov 16-18. The tournament will be hosted in Malibu, Calif. on the campus of Pepperdine. The winner of the tournament will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships Dec. 1-2 in Palo Alto.
