Location Change for 2018 Golden Coast Conference Tournament

IRVINE, Calif. – The venue for the 2018 Golden Coast Conference Tournament has changed, moving to Long Beach State.
The tournament, which was originally scheduled to be hosted by Pepperdine at Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool in Malibu, Calif., will change venues to Long Beach State's Lindgren Aquatics Center. The campus of Pepperdine has been closed through thanksgiving due to the tragic fires in the area.
UC Irvine (8-15, 1-4) earned the No. 4 seed in the tournament. The Anteaters will play fifth-seeded San Jose State (6-17, 0-5) in an opening round game Friday, Nov. 16 at 1 p.m.
The semifinals will be contested on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Championship Sunday will feature the third place game at 11 a.m. followed by the title game at 1 p.m.
Pacific earned the regular-season title and the No. 1 seed after finishing with a 4-1 record in conference play.
