11^th-ranked UCI returns home to host two contests this weekend. On Friday, the Anteaters play an important GCC game against No. 6 UC Santa Barbara at 7 p.m. Top-ranked USC comes to town on Sunday for a non-conference match at 1 p.m. Both games will have live stats available via the FOSH.  

GAMEDAY PROMOTIONS
Two promotional giveaways items will available this weekend.

On Friday (Nov. 2), fans can enjoy dinner courtesy of Newport Rib Company.
A long sleeve UCI Water Polo shirt will be given to fans attending Sunday's (Nov. 4) game against against USC.

All UCI home games are complimentary, but fans are required to register online to be eligible for the promotional items. Items will be distributed on a first-come-first serve basis to those who have pre-registered. Pre-registration does not guarantee fans an item. Fans may register for upcoming games HERE. WEEKEND STORYLINES
> UCI is 8-11 overall and 1-2 in GCC play after splitting a pair of games last weekend
> The Anteaters earned their first conference win after defeating San Jose State last weekend
> This will be the first meeting between the 'Eaters and Gauchos this season
> UCI is fourth in the GCC standings with a 1-2 record
> UCSB is 17-8 overall and stands in second place in the GCC with a 2-1 conference record
> The Gauchos most recently defeated Long Beach State (11-7) and fell to Pacific (12-11)
> UCI is 5-5 in its last 10 meetings with UCSB
> The two teams met four times last season with UCI earning a 3-1 advantage in those meetings including a 10-7 win in the GCC Championship first round
> Boris Jovanovic leads the Gauchos and the GCC with 71 goals while Ivan Gvozdanovic has 42 goals and 21 assists

> UCI remained No. 11 in this week's Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) national rankings. The Anteaters started the year at No. 10
> Sophomore transfer Jason Evezard wasted no time making an immediate impact on the UCI roster as he leads the team with 53 goals
> Evezard has scored at least once in every game and a team-best 10 hat tricks and a 14-1 record in sprints
> Byron Rivers has started 16 games in goal for the Anteaters, compiling 186 saves for a .544 save percentage
> Rivers leads the Golden Coast Conference in saves (186)
> Evezard is fourth in the GCC in goals (54) while Jack Trush is 10th (35)
> Casey Lynton leads the team in steals with 30 which is good for third in the GCC
> Lynton has a team-best 21 assists

> Senior Jack Trush scored his 100^th career goal in UCI's 17-10 win over LMU on Oct. 14
> Tush leads UCI with 56 drawn exclusions this season
> Trush upped his career goal count to 104 and has 35 goals on the season

EVEZARD MAKES WAVES
> Sophomore Jason Evezard was named the Golden Coast Conference Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 27
> It was the first weekly honor of Evezard's career and the first for the Anteaters this season
> Evezard has led UCI in scoring in 10 of 19 games and has a team-high 53 goals this season
> He has a team-best 10 hat tricks and has scored at least one goal in every game
> Evezard had a career-high seven goals against LMU on Oct. 14
