UC Irvine welcomes sixth-ranked Pacific to Anteater Aquatics Complex Friday, Oct. 5 at 7 p.m. to kick off the Golden Coast Conference season.

Jason Evezard was named the Golden Coast Conference Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 27
> It was the first weekly honor of Evezard's career and the first for the Anteaters this season
> Evezard earned the honor after scoring seven goals over two games. He had three goals in UCI's win over Concordia and notched a game-high four goals against No. 2 UCLA

> UCI moved to No. 12 in the latest Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) national rankings after starting the year at No. 10

Jason Evezard wasted no time making an immediate impact on the UCI roster as he leads the team with 35 goals
> Evezard has scored at least once in every game and a team-best eight hat tricks and a 10-1 record in sprints

Byron Rivers has started every game in goal for the Anteaters, compiling 125 saves for a .548 save percentage
> Rivers leads the Golden Coast Conference in saves (125)
