
'Eaters Late Rally Falls Short in 13-12 Loss to Pepperdine

MALIBU, Calif. - No. 11 UCI out-scored No. 6 Pepperdine 7-4 in the second half, to overcome a 9-5 half-time deficit, but fell short, falling 13-12 in Golden Coast Conference action Saturday in Malibu.
With the loss, the Anteaters fall to 7-10 on the season and 0-2 in conference play while the Waves improve to 12-18 overall and 2-0 in the GCC.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
> Sophomore Jason Evezard led the 'Eaters with three goals
> Casey Lynton, Bryant Joudrie, and Ian Fleenor each had two goals
> Lazar Manjlovic, Zlatan Nikocevic and Foster Hoose tallied one goal apiece
> Jake Huynen played all four quarters in goal finishing with seven saves and one steal on the day

> UCI out-scored the Waves 4-2 in the final quarter but it wasn't enough, suffering a one-point, 13-2 loss
