UC Irvine Finishes 10th At Ram Classic

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – UC Irvine opened the season with a 10th place finish at the Colonel Wollenberg Ptarmigan Ram Classic which concluded Tuesday at the Ptarmigan Country Club.
The Anteaters improved five shots off of Monday's round, but could not make a move ending with a 54-hole total of 890 (285-305-300).
Kaley In (70-76-76) and Avery French (67-78-77) tied for 26th with a score of 222 to lead the Anteaters.
Janet Yeo (75-73-75) and Breanne Jones (73-78-72) were tied for 32nd with a three round score of 223. Jones had the low round of the final day with an even par 72.
Sabrina Li improved once again with a round of 73 Tuesday. She finished tied for 43rd position at 226 (79-74-73), playing as an individual.
Newcomer Danielle Lee was 82nd with a 251 total (84-83-84).
Next, UCI will compete at the Chip-N Club Invitational hosted by Nebraska at the Wilderness Ridge Golf Course.
