Anteaters Sit In Second At Chip-N Club Invitational

LINCOLN, Neb. -- UC Irvine sits in second place after the first day of the Chip-N- Club Invitational at the Wilderness Ridge Golf Course.
The Anteaters battled through a rain delay and high winds to finish with a score of 305, behind Kansas, who were not fazed by the elements, firing a 294 Sunday.
Janet Yeo is tied for third with a one-over par 73. Kaley In and Avery French are tied for seventh with a score of 76. Breanne Jones had a first round of 80 and is tied for 19th, while Sabrina Li is tied for 36th (83).
The second of three rounds will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, and live stats will be available on Golfstat.
