UCI will venture up to the central coast visiting UC Santa Barbara Friday (No. 10) for a 7:00 p.m. match at the Thunderdome then Cal Poly Saturday for a 2:00 p.m. first serve from Mott Athletics Center.
UCSB is the only Big West team the Anteaters haven't faced this season.
The teams split a pair of contests last year with each team sweeping the other on road.
The Gauchos are 6-17 overall and in fifth in the Big West with a 5-6 record.
UCSB's Lindsey Ruddins leads the nation in kills per set with a 5.68 mark and is second nationally in points per set at 6.20.
Cal Poly remains at the top of Big West standings with a 12-0 mark. The Mustangs are ranked 24th nationally with a 22-2 overall record. They are undefeated in Big West action at 12-0.
The Mustangs have won 17 in a row, the third longest streak in the nation.
Cal Poly beat UCI 3-0 at the Bren Center behind Torrey Van Winden's 18 kills and Adlee Van Winden's 11 kills.
Idara Akpakpa led UCI with a .619 hitting percentage. The middle blocker had a team-best 13 kills in 21 attempts without an error.

The 21 wins are tied for third most in program history and the most since UCI went 22-8 in 2009.
The last time UCI had nine conference wins was 2014 when the club ended the year 9-7.
The Anteaters are coming off consecutive 3-0 wins over UC Riverside and Cal State Fullerton.
Against the Titans, Idara Akpakpa and Harlee Kekauoha led UCI with standout performances.
Akpakpa led UCI with 11 kills, hitting .733 without an error in 15 attempts. The middle blocker's .733 hitting percentage is a season-high and the third best in the league this year.
Kekauoha tied her career-high with five aces. The opposite, who leads the Big West and ranks 19th nationally, moved in to sixth all-time at UCI with 117 in her career. She also added nine kills in the win.
As a team, UCI is ranked 11th in the country in aces per set (1.70) and 18th in win/loss percentage (.840).
The team tops the Big West in aces (1.70) and is second in kills (13.70), assists (12.74). The Anteaters are third in hitting percentage (.254) and opponents' hitting percentage (.188).
Kekauoha leads the Anteaters in kills with a 3.44 average followed by outside hitter Haley DeSales with a 3.28 mark.
Akpakpa leads the team and is third in the conference in hitting percentage at .393. She is also third on the team in kills at 2.48.
Setter Ali Koumelis averages 10.36 set assists per game, while libero Luna Tsuijimoto owns a 4.15 dig average.
