FORT COLLINS, Colo. – UC Irvine was selected to participate in the National Invitational Volleyball Championship and will face Sacramento State Tuesday (Nov. 28) at 4:30 p.m. at the Spanos Center in Stockton, Calif. in the first round.

I'm proud of my team and staff for working so hard the past three seasons to bring us to this point."
UC Irvine, who is ranked 16th in the Volleyball Magazine Mid-Major poll, ended the regular season with a 22-7 overall record, the most wins since 2009 when the squad also had 22 wins. The Anteaters were third in the Big West with a 10-6 mark.
