UCI will start the week traveling to UC Riverside Thursday (Nov. 2) then returns home to host Cal State Fullerton Saturday (Nov. 4) at the Bren Events Center. First serve for both matches begins at 7:00 p.m.
UCI beat the Titans 3-1 on the road and topped the Highlanders 3-0 at home earlier this season.
The Highlanders have dropped their last four contests and are 9-12 overall and 1-8 in the Big West.
UCR's lone conference win came against Cal State Fullerton (3-1) on Oct. 7.
The Highlanders have won nine of their first 21 matches this season, which is the third best start to a season in their Division I history.
Cal State Fullerton is coming off a 3-1 victory over UC Riverside last week, their only conference victory.
The Titans are 5-18 overall and 1-8 in the Big West.
UCI is 19-4 overall and 7-3 in the Big West.
UCI's 19 wins are tied for fourth most in program history.
The 19 wins are the most wins since 2009 when the club was 22-8. The school record is 24 in 2003, when head coach Ashlie Hain was a player.
UCI dropped to No. 15 in the VolleyballMag.com Mid-Major Poll.
The Anteaters lead the Big West in aces (1.64) and are ranked second in kills (13.65), assists (12.66), hitting percentage (.253) and in opponents hitting percentage (0.194).
UCI is one of three team's with a 1-2 punch in the Big West, placing two players in the league's top 10 in kill average. Harlee Kekauoha leads the team in kill average (3.45) and is sixth in the Big West, while Haley DeSales is ninth at 3.29.
UCI is ranked 20th in the country in winning percentage (0.826).
UCI leads the conference and is ranked 18th in the country in aces with a 1.64 mark. Seven different Anteaters have recorded aces in double-figures. UCI has fired 136 aces overall.
Kylie Green has been stellar coming in to serve lately. She has two aces in each of the last two matches and has 10 overall.
Kekauoha is tied for the league lead in ace average with a 0.40 mark and is ranked 54th nationally. She is eighth all-time in UCI career aces with 118. The junior is also eighth in the Big West in hitting percentage at .294.
DeSales is averaging 0.35 aces, which is fifth best in the league. She is second on the team in digs with a 2.48 average.
Junior Idara Akpakpa leads the team in hitting percentage (.392), good for third amongst Big West players and 31st nationally. She is third on the team in kills (2.46) and second in blocks (0.58).
Libero Luna Tsujimoto and setter Ali Koumelis are among the best in the Big West. Tsujimoto is fourth in the Big West with a 4.07 average, while Koumelis is third in the league in set assists at 10.27. She also averages 2.24 digs and has 15 aces.
Last week, UCI went 1-2, falling to No. 23 Cal Poly and Long Beach State, 0-3 and beating CSUN 3-2.
Against the Matadors, four Anteaters had double-figure kills, led by Kekauoha's 18 kills. Brianna Montgomery (10) and Makayla Wolfe (9) each tied their career-highs in kills.
