Day 2 Results

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The UC Irvine women's tennis team won three consolation matches Friday at the ITA Southwest Regional Championships in San Diego.
 
Sophomores Arianna Tilbury and Jacqueline Tsodikova teamed up to defeat Arpe Bagumyan/Elisaveta Nosenko of CSUN, 8-2.
 
TIlbury was also a winner in singles as she came away with a 3-6, 1-2, ret. triumph over San Diego's Gemma Garcia.
 
Sophomore Yulin Chen earned her first collegiate victory after coming from behind to top Lana Rinaldi of Grand Canyon, 1-6, 7-5, 10-2.
 
The 'Eaters will stay in San Diego for more consolation matches Saturday starting at 9 a.m.
